iVisit Media: live events and experiential marketing
iVisit Media is the bridge between brands and their audience: “We don’t just put brands in front of people. We put them in the moment with them.” Its work includes a football match in Central Park, streamed to the world, and a takeover in the heart of Times Square. Its sign-off is Be there. More than 200,000 fans follow iVB across Instagram and TikTok. Its sign-off is Everyone’s ringside. Read more about iVB or visit ivb.co (opens in a new tab).

Pear OOH: local out of home
Pear OOH, also known as Pear Out of Home, offers curated audience impressions in key locations: “Not everyone, everywhere. The right people, in the places that matter to them.” That means the high street where customers shop, the pub where they unwind, the station they pass twice a day and the doorstep they come home to. Its own site calls it the home of local outdoor advertising. Its sign-off is Right there. Read more about Pear OOH or visit pearoutofhome.co.uk (opens in a new tab).

The Pear names, explained
Four names in the family begin with Pear. They are related, but they are not the same thing.
- Pear Media is the group itself. It is the trading name of Pear Media Ltd and the family all six companies belong to, and this is its website.
- Pear OOH, or Pear Out of Home, is the local out of home company in the family. Its own website is pearoutofhome.co.uk.
- Pear Publishing is the independent publishing house in the family, and the publisher behind titles including Enterprise and The IN. Its own website is pearpublishing.com.
- Pear Community, at pearcommunity.org, is coming soon. There is no site to visit yet.

Beyond the six companies, the family includes a set of specialist brands and titles, each with its own website.

How the companies fit together
Most companies wait for people to come to them. We go to the people. Pear Media is the tree and the companies are its fruit, and each one meets people somewhere different:
- iVisit Media is the moment people show up for.
- iVB is the fight they live for.
- iDO is the connection that never switches off.
- Pear OOH is the place they pass every day.
- Brightsky Media is the idea in their pocket.
- Pear Publishing is the story they keep.
Put together, the group is the last mile between brands and people. The internet reaches people everywhere. We meet them somewhere, from Welsh high streets to the world’s biggest stages.
The belief behind the group
The family business began in 1997, started by two brothers, Ed and Fed Pereira. (In Portuguese, Pereira means pear tree.) Ed Pereira’s own line from 1997 is the group’s founding belief:
“If you meet people where they are, you can create powerful connections.”
Pear Media Ltd, the company at its root, was incorporated on 17 September 2004, and Ed Pereira leads it today as Director. The group is still independent and family-run, and the founding belief lives on in its sign-off: Pear Media. Where people are.
