Pear Media Ltd is the family-run parent company behind iVisit Media, iVB, iDO, Pear OOH, Brightsky Media and Pear Publishing. Since 1997 the group has helped brands reach people in the places they live, work, travel and gather.

Our history

Family-run since 1997.

Pear Media began in 1997 as a family business founded by brothers Ed and Fed Pereira, built on one principle that Ed still leads by.

That principle now runs through six specialist companies, spanning live events and experiential marketing, world championship boxing, digital screens, local out of home, tourism distribution and publishing. Each keeps its own name and team, with the group providing shared direction, support and scale.

Our role

The last mile between brands and people.

The internet reaches people everywhere. We meet them somewhere: on the platform at rush hour, at the gate before kick-off, at the bar after a long week, by the leaflet stand on the first morning of a holiday. That last stretch, from a brand to a real person in a real place, is the work we do.

Independent and family-run since 1997, the group works from Cardiff and goes wherever the audience is, from Welsh high streets to the world’s biggest stages.

What holds the family together.

The six companies work in very different places, from ringside to the reading chair. Three things run through all of them.

  • Independent and family-run

    Since 1997, the business has stayed in the family. Ed Pereira, one of the two brothers who started it, leads it today, and the belief they began with still sets the direction.

  • Out on the ground

    We go where people already are: the stadium and the station, the high street and the holiday park, the page and the shelf. Every company in the family works that way.

  • One family of crafts

    Live events and world championship boxing. Always-on and local out of home. Tourism marketing and independent publishing. Six different crafts, grown from the same roots.
